Plantation Police Need Help Identifying Teen Hurt In Accident

PLANTATION (CBSMiami) – Plantation police are asking for the public's help in identifying a teen that was critically injured in an accident.

It happened Saturday, Nov. 12th, around 6 p.m. in the 5900 block of W Broward Boulevard. When officers arrived, that found in addition to a traffic crash the teen had been hit as he tried to cross Broward Boulevard.

The teen, who was rushed to Broward General Medical Center in critical condition, is still unconscious. Since he didn't have any identification on him, police are asking for the public's help in hopes of identifying the subject, so that family members can be notified.

Police did not release a photograph of the teen because of the graphic nature of his injuries. They described him as African-American, approximately 16 to 20 years of age, thin/medium build, with short cropped black hair. He was wearing dark colored pants, a black and grey striped shirt, an EA Sports hooded sweatshirt, and black Nike shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Plantation Police Department at (954) 797-2100.
