Cool Change On The Way

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – There's a chilly change coming to South Florida. Most of the work week has been beautiful, breezy and mainly dry thanks to high pressure to the north.

Thursday will once again be mostly sunny, with a high near 80, Thursday night's low will dip to around 67, and it'll get even cooler over the weekend, once a strong cold front slide down the Peninsula, according to CBS4 Meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez.

Winds should be light and out of the east.

On Friday, it'll be another mostly sunny day with highs near 81 and light winds.

Early Saturday morning, it'll be sweater weather with the potential of some inland locations to dip down to the upper 50s and low to mid 60s near the coast.

Saturday afternoon highs will only climb to the upper 70s with plenty of sun and a building breeze.

Sunday morning, it'll be another cool start and highs will start to creep back up to near 80 degrees with a few more clouds due to the onshore winds.

All in all, this weekend will be the complete opposite of last weekend since we will be mainly dry, cooler and it will feel like Fall.
