Powerball Jackpot Up To $245 Million
TALLAHASSEE (CBS4) - Florida Lotto and Powerball players are hoping they'll have better luck this Wednesday to win lots of cash.
No ticket matched all 6 numbers drawn Saturday evening in the Florida Lotto, nor did anyone match all 5 winning numbers plus the Powerball number in the multi-state game. That means that the jackpots for both games will be rolling over for Wednesday's drawings.
This Wednesday the estimated jackpot for the Florida Lotto will be $23 million.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday were 3-8-12-28-34-48.
Sixty two tickets matched five numbers to win $3,844.50 each; 3,372 tickets matched four numbers for $55.50 each; and 63,479 tickets matched three numbers for $5.00 each.
In Powerball, the jackpot will roll over to $245 million for this Wednesday's drawing.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday night were 11-16-40-51-56; the Powerball number was 38.
Three tickets sold in Florida matched all five numbers but not the Powerball number to win $200,000.
Thousands of other tickets matched lesser winning Powerball combinations.
