Museum Of Discovery Offers Spooktacular Fun

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4)- It's the time of year when the favorite pastime is getting scared and grossed out, and now you can do just that with science.

That's what the Spooktacular GrossOut Science at Museum of Discovery and Science is doing, grossing you out with edible bugs, bats, mad scientist and more.

The Museum of Discovery and Science has some ghoulishly gross games in store for Halloween the weekend of October 28 to 30. Not only will visitors get creative, they will get grossed out by creepy creatures, crusty scabs and skunk spray jelly beans. Learn the ins and outs of your disgusting bodily functions and be "shocked" by their very own Mad Scientist.

Are you worried about all of that Halloween candy ruining your diet? Let the Museum help you to discover alternative goodies that are high in protein and low in fat like barbecue, cheddar cheese or sour cream and onion flavored insects. Explore the frightening fun of "All Hallows Eve" all weekend long.
