Coral Springs Under Boil Water Order

CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami) – A precautionary boil water order has been issued for Coral Springs residents.

The affected area is south of Royal Palm Boulevard to the C-14 canal.

The boil water order went into effect due to an FP&L power outage which caused emergency generators to become activated. A transfer switch, however, failed which caused the pressure in the water system to drop below acceptable levels.

It's not known how long the boil water order will remain in effect.
