Panthers Drop Another, 3-0

SUNRISE, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – The Florida Panthers took to the ice Thursday night hoping to move to two games over .500 on the young NHL season.

The only problem was the road tested Buffalo Sabres were in their way. In the end, the Sabres were simply too much for the Panthers as Florida lost, 3-0.

It was the second straight game that the Panthers have been shut out this season. In fact, the Panthers only managed six total shots in the final period. In total, Buffalo goalie Ryan Miller had to stop just 22 shots in the victory.

Panthers goalie Jose Theodore stopped 35 of 38 shots in the game. Florida played without defenseman Ed Jovanoski who was out with a hip injury.
