BSO: 3rd Romeo Rapist Victim Comes Forward

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A third woman has come forward to claim she was raped by a Broward man already jailed on multiple sexual battery charges.

Andrew Miguel Beadle, 35 of Tamarac, was arrested October 12th and booked into the main jail on two sexual battery charges, kidnapping and battery. Now, a third victim has told the Broward Sheriff's Office that she was also raped by Beadle in his North Lauderdale apartment.

The first attack took place on June 27th. The victim told detectives she met Beadle at a Fort Lauderdale Publix where he worked as a security guard. A week later, he picked her up for a dinner date but said he had to go to his apartment first to change clothes. Once inside, he sexually battered her, according to BSO. Afterward, he drove her home.

Less than a month later, on July 24th, another woman told detectives Beadle raped her while she was on a dinner date inside his apartment while her 3-year-old daughter was in the same room.

The victim said Beadle put her in a headlock and told her that he could snap her neck, that he has killed before and has no problem doing it again. Then he pulled a blanket over the victim and himself and raped her. Her daughter was in the room during the attack, according to investigators.

On August 11th, Beadle struck again, according to BSO. The police report states a third woman was sexually assaulted in Beadle's apartment. She claimed Beadle had a gun on a nearby sofa and she feared for her life.

Detectives encourage any other women who many have been victimized by Beadle to contact law enforcement immediately.

Anyone who believes she may have been victimized by Beadle can contact BSO Special Victims Unit detectives Sandra Haye-Roberts or Eric Hendel at (954) 321-4240 or report information anonymously to Crime Stoppers of Broward County at (954) 493-TIPS (8477) or online at www.browardcrimestoppers.org.
