Vontae Davis Sidelined For Charger's Game

MIAMI (CBS4) - Miami Dolphins cornerback Vontae Davis has been ruled out of Sunday's game at San Diego because of a hamstring injury. This is the second consecutive game he will miss because of the injury.

Also out because of a hamstring injury is rookie running back Daniel Thomas.

Thomas missed the season opener due to his injury and aggravated it last week. His absence likely means playing time for Steve Slaton, claimed off waivers Wednesday.

Slaton rushed for 1,282 yards as a rookie with Houston in 2008, but was less productive after injuring his neck in 2009 and was released this week by the Texans.

Linebacker Koa Misi will also be sidelined by a neck injury.
