Judge To Decide On Release Of Anthony Jailhouse Tape

ORLANDO (CBS4) – Should a video tape of Casey Anthony learning that the remains of her daughter had been found be made public?

That's the decision Orlando Circuit Judge Belvin Perry is expected to make Wednesday afternoon.

An Orlando television station petitioned the release of the jailhouse videotape from 2008 which has remained sealed since 2009. Judge Stan Strickland, who originally presided over Anthony's murder case, sealed it because he feared it would affect Anthony's ability to receive a fair trial.

Anthony was acquitted of killing her daughter Caylee Anthony in July, but found guilty on three counts of lying to police.

This is the latest motion brought by a news organization to unseal public records in the case. In July, Judge Belvin Perry decided to unseal the names of jurors in the case only after a three-month cooling-off period that ends in October.
