Report: Big Three Hosting Big Charity Game

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – With the prospects of a full NBA season looking increasingly grim, the Big Three of the Miami Heat are set to bring an All-Star atmosphere to South Florida for a charity game.

According to ESPN's Chris Broussard, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh will be hosting the South Florida Celebrity Classic on October 8th at Florida International University.

Broussard is reporting the game will feature: LeBron, D-Wade, Bosh, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Amare Stoudemire, Russell Westbrook, John Wall, Jamal Crawford, Rudy Gay, and possibly Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson.

The money raised from the game would go to charity, according to Broussard. The teams will be coached by Kevin Hart and Rick Ross.

The game may be the only chance Miami Heat fans get to see the Big Three play this year.

The NBA and NBPA are meeting in New York Tuesday and Wednesday to try to make progress on a new collective bargaining agreement, but so far, neither side has been willing to compromise.
