FSU CB Greg Reid Arrested

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – The Florida State Seminoles are reeling after a second straight loss this season; and now must deal with off-the-field trouble for one of its star players.

Cornerback and dynamic return-specialist Greg Reid was arrested early Monday morning on charges of resisting arrest and perjury. According to Tallahassee Police, Reid was trying to protect a friend from his hometown who was being pursued for resisting arrest after being stopped by police.

So far, FSU officials have not commented on Reid's arrest.

It's not the first-time Reid has had problems this season. He was suspended the second game of the season for violation of team rules. He also missed last Saturday's game against Clemson with a bruised knee.
