Canes Get More Help Saturday
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Fresh off a devastating loss to an average Kansas State team, the Miami Hurricanes finally get a reprieve this weekend with a matchup against Bethune-Cookman from the Football Championship Series.
The good news for the Canes is that running back Lamar Miller is expected to suit up this weekend against the Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman. Miller is currently ranked fifth in the country running the football. Miller is averaging 136 yards per game.
In addition, the Hurricanes got good news on the injury front from tackle Seantrel Henderson. The massive right tackle is practicing again and according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, is expected to play this week against B-C.
Henderson, who stands 6'8" and weighs in the neighborhood of 345 pounds, was going to be the team's left tackle before having offseason back surgery. Head coach Al Golden hasn't said where on the line Henderson will play.
