Langerado Music Festival Cancelled - Again

MIAMI (CBS4) - Music lovers will have to go elsewhere to get their festival fix because organizers have cancelled the once-popular Langerado Music Festival for the third year in a row.

No reason was given by the festival's promoters, Boros Entertainment, according to CBS4 News partner The Miami Herald. Critical postings on the event's Facebook page have been popping up recently, with users slamming performer lineup selection.

Arctic Monkeys, Ben Harper, Death Cab For Cutie, The Trey Anastasio Band and Ween were scheduled to perform.

Langerado Music Festival was a popular event on the South Florida music scene for more than 5 years, but has been plagued by cancellations over the last three.

The show was slated to take place at Markham Park in Sunrise October 8-9. Asking price was $75 a head. People who have purchased tickets are eligible for a refund by calling (888) 512-SHOW or by emailing support@fgtcustomerservice.com.
