Artefacto Debuts Miami's First Branded Design Showcase

MIAMI (CBS4) – Following in the footsteps of décor showrooms and design houses around the world, Artefacto Design House '11 in Coral Gables marks the debut of Miami's first branded design showcase.

The showcase features 11 international designers from 9 Miami-based design studios who created vignettes of living rooms, bedrooms and outdoor living spaces. Each room design showcases unique new styles in the window displays at the Village of Merrick Park location. The rooms will be on display through June 2012.

In a statement Artefacto Design House owner Paulo Bacchi said "internationalism serves as the fundamental basis for design; there is a unique focus on contemporary flair from northern Italy, sensual elegance from southern France, and simplicity from Asian culture. Each of these elements comes together for an all-inclusive look at Artefacto's showrooms."

According to Bacchi what is trending now in design is an Asian influence mixed with "African details, a 1940s to 1960s Parisian delicacy, more vibrant colors, Brazilian pop-art and lots of variety in textures."

These international create that cohesive look within each of the Design House's vignettes.
