Caught On Camera: Robbin' Hoods Strike Again

LAUDERDALE LAKES (CBS4) -- Two armed men wearing hooded sweatshirts made a second appearance on surveillance video this week when they robbed a Lauderdale Lakes Taco Bell, held employees at gunpoint as they stole cash and then took off in a white Dodge Charger.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the getaway vehicle appears to be the same one captured by surveillance cameras just a day before when two men robbed a Dania Beach gas station.

In both cases, the robbers wore masks, gloves and hooded sweatshirts.

At the Taco Bell, located at 3970 West Oakland Park Boulevard, one robber in a black sweatshirt wore a butterfly band-aid on his leg. His accomplice wore a light grey hoodie with a large Polo logo and two stripes on one sleeve.

BSO robbery detectives believe the duo may be responsible for other robberies in the area.

Anyone with information about this robbery may call BSO Det. Tony Hierrezuelo at (954) 321-4270 or call Broward Crime Stoppers (954) 493-TIPS (8477) or online at www.browardcrimestoppers.org.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for tips leading to an arrest.
