Heat Release 2011 Preseason Schedule
MIAMI (CBS4) – Despite the fact that all indications are pointing to there be no season at all; the Miami Heat released its 2011-2012 preseason schedule Thursday afternoon.
The Heat starts the eight-game preseason schedule with a battle against the Orlando Magic on October 11. The game will be held at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
The Heat will have home games against the New Orleans Hornets and Washington Wizards as well in the preseason.
The Heat will be playing on the road in Houston, Raleigh, Memphis, and Detroit during the preseason schedule.
All of it will likely be a moot point because the NBA lockout is showing no signs of ending anytime soon. Both sides are dug in and they are approximately $800 million apart on just the money aspect of a new collective bargaining agreement.
