Pembroke Pines Police Need Help To Find Missing Woman

PEMBROKE PINES (CBS4) — The Pembroke Pines Police Department now suspects foul play in the disappearance of a woman under suspicious circumstances.

According to police, Natalie Belmonte was last seen returning to her home, located at 19331 NW 5th Street, from a party around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, July 17th.

Police say there were no signs of forced entry into her home and her cell phone, purse, personal belongings and vehicle were found at the home.

Police comb Natalie Belmonte's home for clues in her disappearance.

Due to these circumstances, the Pembroke Pines Police Department believes her disappearance is suspicious and has sent a team of crime scene technicians into the home.

Police searched many area dumpsters including a dumpster near 194th Street and Sheridan, behind an animal hospital, but won't reveal what they found. They say only that they found evidence that makes them suspect foul play.

A veterinarian technician at the animal hospital witnessed the search and said police took out several white trash bags with sheets that had blood on them.

"They called us to see if we had dumped that in there," vet tech Gabriel Osorio told CBS4's Natalia Zea.

Belmonte is a Realtor and mother of three. Neighbors say she has a 22-year-old son, a 20-year-old daughter in college, and a 17-year-old son in high school.

A neighbor, who has lived on the same street with Belmonte for 15 years, told CBS4's Silva Harapetian that Belmonte and a family member were at a party together Saturday night.

When they came home, she went to bed but when the son woke up, she wasn't there. When he couldn't find her, he called police, according to the neighbor.

"It seems very unusual," said neighbor Al Quintana. "She's a realtor. A professional business woman. It seems odd that nobody has heard from her."

Belmonte's business partner and friend Aquila Rodgers told Zea that she and the Belmonte family are trying to remain optimistic.

"I'm worried, I'm concerned I hope it's not anything outside of the fact that she's missing," said Rodgers.

Belmonte is 5'4", 135 pounds, has straight long brown hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a strapless brown dress.

Anyone with information about Natalie Belmonte is asked to call the Pembroke Pines Police Department at (954) 431-2200, email to Tips@ppines.com, or call Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
