No More Free Parking At Sawgrass Mills For Concerts

SUNRISE (CBS4) – No more free parking at Sawgrass Mills if you're going over to the BankAtlantic Center to see a concert or a Florida Panthers' game.

Beginning Thursday night with the Rhianna concert, Sawgrass Mills will charge for $30 parking.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, parking in the mall lot will be cash only. Rates will vary depending on the show or game going on at the BankAtlantic Center and will be slightly higher than parking there.

There is a way to get around the new fee. Anyone who spends $30 or more on the day of the event at either a store or restaurant at the mega-mall will be reimbursed for the parking fee. Just go to the redemption station at The Oasis and show them a receipt. The redemption station will be open until midnight on the event days.

Free parking will be available to those going to see a movie at the Sawgrass 23 Stadium and IMAX theaters.
