Orlando Thrill Park Worker Killed In Fall

ORLANDO (CBS4) – The Magical Midway Thrill Park on International Drive in Orlando was shut down by police on Saturday after a worker fell to his death.

Justin Honeycutt, 30, was working about 90 feet off the ground when he fell from the Starflyer ride, according to Orange County Fire Rescue.  Battalion Chief Mark Smothers said Honeycutt fell about 6 feet before being caught by his harness.

Honeycutt died at the scene.

The state Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services are investigating the accident.
