New Super Stores Coming To Sawgrass Mills

SUNRISE (CBS4)-- Prepare to shop 'til you drop! Sawgrass Mills, one of the nation's largest outlet malls, has plans to get even bigger.

The giant retail and entertainment complex has announced plans to add 40,000 square feet to their Colonnade Outlets section.

These renovations will make room for 20 new stores including the first Florida location for Tory Burch.

In addition, a 140,000 square foot space which used to be occupied by Wannado City will be transformed to make room for new stores like Under Armour Factory House, DKNY Company Store, Desigual, Original Penguin and Max Studio.

This space will also house a 60,000 square foot teenage dream, the largest Forever 21 in the state, as well as the country's biggest Calvin Klein.

"These new expansions only enhance the success and appeal of one of the top producing retail destinations anywhere," said Gregg Goodman, President of The Mills.

Aside from adding new stores, Sawgrass Mills also plans to renovate the bathrooms, add new seating areas and improve traffic flow and parking. They're even adding a theme park-like trolley service that will circulate around the massive shopping area.

These changes should be completed by 2012.
