Robaina Lands Another Endorsement

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Just a day after receiving the endorsement of former 2 Live Crew frontman Luther Campbell, Julio Robaina has lined up another big name supporting his campaign.

Roosevelt Bradley announced his endorsement of Robaina for Miami-Dade County Mayor Friday afternoon. The announcement was made at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza Metrorail Station.

Thursday, Campbell gave his endorsement to Robaina for Mayor of Miami-Dade County, replacing recalled Mayor Carlos Alvarez.

Campbell's endorsement came with a bit of controversy as the campaign of Carlos Gimenez had expected "Uncle Luke" to endorse its campaign on Wednesday.

Robaina and Gimenez's runoff election will be held Tuesday, June 28.
