Fins Try New Plan To Sell Tickets

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – As the NFL prepares for a season as short as 8 games, the Miami Dolphins are looking to try to capture as much revenue as they possibly can by offering 4-game flex packs that include some of the team's biggest opponents.

The plan is in response to sagging ticket sales across the league, which some teams have chosen to hide behind to cut the pay of staffers who have nothing to do with the lockout.

According to the plan, fans will be able to choose two games from the Aqua list and two games from the Orange list in the 4-game Flex Pack.

The aqua list includes: New England Patriots (Sept. 12); Denver Broncos (Oct. 23), Philadelphia Eagles (Dec. 1), and New York Jets (Jan. 1). The orange list includes: Houston Texans (Sept. 18); Washington Redskins (Nov. 13); Buffalo Bills (Nov. 20); Oakland Raiders (Dec. 4).

Given the labor uncertainty, the safest bet would be to pick the games deepest into the season to make sure your games are played.
