Fuel Mix-Up Left Miami Drivers Fuming

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) - More than a dozen South Florida drivers were fuming Tuesday night after they say they got some bad gasoline at a gas station, causing their cars to stall shortly after filling up.

The drivers say after gassing their cars at the Westar gas station on Southwest 117 Street and Southwest 67th Avenue they only got a couple blocks before the engines stalled out.

The gas station believes the gas in the tanks was somehow mixed with water when it was picked up at Port Everglades.

In all, about 20 cars were damaged.

Police are investigating the incident.
