LeBron LePlayer Of The Week

MIAMI (CBS4) - Miami Heat forward LeBron James averaged 29 points a game and shot 94 percent from the free throw line last week, and for that, the NBA honored James as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

It marked the 31st time James has ever earned Player of the Week honors, which is the most times any player has ever earned in NBA history. It was also the fifth time James has earned the honor since he joined the Heat this year.

During the last week, James averaged: 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists per game while shooting 55 percent from the field.

James had 43 points against the Atlanta Hawks last Friday. During that game, he shot 76.2 percent and scored his 17,000th point of his career. LeBron is the youngest player ever to 17,000 points.
