MIAMI (CBS4) – It is a busy Friday in Miami-Dade County between visiting politicians and protests.

What does this translate to for you? Road closures and traffic delays, that's what.

President Barack Obama will be visiting Miami in the afternoon for two fundraising events with Sen. Bill Nelson, and to speak to high school students at an area school. Road closures can be expected as he travels from one event to another.

Obama arrives at about 1 p.m. and is expected to speak at Miami Central Senior High School before attending events.  There is one event at the Fontainebleau Hotel, 4441 Collins Avenue and another one at on Pinetree Drive. These events will cause multiple road closures as his motorcade moves between the airport to his destinations throughout the afternoon.

Be aware that large vehicles will not be permitted to stop in front of the Fontainebleau.

There also will be several protest events starting at 3 p.m. that are anticipated to cause some traffic delays.
