Two Hit By Fort Lauderdale Trolley Taken To Hospital

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBS4) – Two elderly people in their 70s have been taken to hospital Monday after they were struck by a popular Fort Lauderdale transportation service.

The two were taken to Broward General Hospital after they were hit while crossing in A1A by Sun Trolley.

The Trolley ran over the man but the woman refused medical transport. He has non-life threatening injuries, according to Det. Travis Mandell, spokesman for Fort Lauderdale Police.

Sun Trolleys provide community transportation across Fort Lauderdale.
