Amber Alert Issued For Two Florida Kids

PORT ORANGE (CBS4) - Drivers on I-95 and other major South Florida's will notice an Amber Alert posted on the roadside emergency information signs asking everyone to keep an eye out for two missing Florida kids.

Five-year-old Anthony Dodd and four-month-old Clairra Koontz of Port Orange were last seen Tuesday, December 14th.

Police said the children may be with 20-year-old Katie Thompson in a black 2002 Dodge Durango – Florida tag number AMK F99. The Durango has a front brush guard and a trash bag over the driver's side rear window.

Dodd is about four feet tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. Koontz has blonde hair.

Thompson was last seen wearing navy blue sweatpants, a mossy oak camouflage jacket and black and white sneakers.

Police believe Thompson and the children may have left Volusia County and issued the statewide alert.

Anyone who spots Thompson, the children or the Durango is urged to call 911.
