Warm Today, Chill Tomorrow

MIAMI (CBS4) - If you hate the cold and have a lot of errands to day, Saturday is the day for you. The first day of the weekend will be the warmest, as more cold weather is on the way Sunday.

Forecasters say yet another cold front is sweeping down the Florida peninsula, which may mean temperatures could drop into the 40's...or lower...Sunday night, and that's just the start. Forecasters at the National Weather Service Miami office are predicting Monday and Tuesday temperatures could fall into the 30's overnight, bring some of the coldest weather of the season. This week, temperatures hovered in the upper 30's inland, producing frost on cars but causing little problem for agriculture.

The cold fronts were enough to break a century old record in Broward County.

Forecasters say overnight temperatures for December generally average in the 60's in South Florida, with temperatures in to 30's being somewhat unusual.
