Tamarac Toddler Falls From 2nd Story Window

Tamarac (CBS4) ― A Tamarac toddler was rushed to the hospital Wednesday night after falling 12 feet from a window.

Tamarac Fire Rescue rushed to the 5800 block of Northwest 57th Court after receiving the call just before 8:30 p.m..

The child was transported to Broward General Medical Center and is listed in critical condition, according to Tamarac fire spokesperson Van Schoen.

It is not known if the child is male or female. Investigators said there are no signs of neglect and believe the incident was an accident.

The Broward Sheriff's Office is investigating.
