West wind will lead to highs soaring to the upper 80s. Old Record high in Miami: 91 degrees set back in 2002 Old Record high in Ft. Lauderdale: 93 degrees set back in 1921 Drier and warmer conditions this afternoon will lead to a high wild fire danger. Although there could be a few showers and isolated storms this afternoon and evening as a cold front passes. Behind the front, we will be cooler, breezy and less humid tonight with lows falling to the upper 60s near the coast and low 60s inland. Tomorrow will not be as hot and more seasonal with highs closer to average for this time of year in the low to mid 80s. Lower humidity will also help to make it feel more pleasant across South Florida.
