The Ultimate Fan Experience: 2017
For the fifth consecutive year, CBS Miami and South Florida Honda Dealers teamed up to create the Ultimate Fan Experience. Two lucky winners were selected to attend a Miami Dolphins game and have an experience that’s completely unique and extraordinary.
Our two winners, Venus and Daniel, were thrilled to be selected and each brought a guest to share in the amazing time at the newly renovated Hard Rock Stadium. After each game our two winners wrote about how much fun they had during their Ultimate Fan Experience:
Venus & Len Had An Absolute Blast While Enjoying The Ultimate Fan Experience
Here is Venus’ experience:
When we arrived in the parking lot we were amazed at how much it has changed.
We arrived early so we could meet up with our friends that we’ve tailgated with for 22 years. Yes, we’ve been coming to Dolphins games for a long time!
We then met up with our tour guide David from CBS4 and headed to the Dolphins team store. That place seems to have everything you can think of with a Dolphins logo, it’s heaven for any Fin-fan.
Next stop was the production trailer outside the stadium, where the game is put together for everyone to see on TV. It was amazing to see what goes on behind the scenes and talk to some of the people who work so hard to bring the game to fans watching at home.
After leaving the production trailer it was time to head into the stadium.
Our first stop was the postgame press conference room, where Dolphins players and coaches talk to the media. It was so cool to get a picture taken behind the podium.
The tour continued and on to the field we went, walking by several Miami players and coaches on the way. Going through the tunnel where the players come out felt so awesome.
Once on the field we got to watch the players warm up from just feet away.
They were so close that we were able to take pictures with players, coaches, and even super-agent Drew Rosenhaus.
I have pictures with Jay Cutler, Adam Gase and the great Dan Marino, just to name a few!
It was then time to check out the brand new pressbox and the CBS broadcast booth.
We met broadcasters Nat Moore, Dick Stockton, and Bob Griese. They were all so nice.
After that it was time for David to take us to our seats.
What a great night and to end it all we won the game!
Thank you CBS Miami and South Florida Honda Dealers for the Ultimate Fan Experience, it was a night that this Dolphins fan will never forget.
Dan & Jen’s Ultimate Fan Experience Was One That They’ll Never Forget
Here is Dan’s experience:
For these two football fans, driving up to the new Hard Rock Stadium was truly an experience.
It was my first time visiting the stadium while Jen, a native of South Florida, has visited this stadium many times through its renovations and name changes, from Joe Robbie Stadium to Dolphins Stadium to Land Shark and now Hard Rock.
Taking in the new facility was definitely top of the list during this Ultimate Fan Experience.
The highlight was being on the field before the game, looking up to see the history of the Dolphins throughout the stadium.
CBS4 did a wonderful job touring us through their production trailer to see how the game is produced, then on to field to be up close with the players warming up.
Then we moved on to the press box where we saw where all the ESPN and NFL Network staff sit to view the game and then finally to the CBS broadcast booth where Dolphins legends Nat Moore and Bob Griese were getting ready to call the game.
We realize during this experience the NFL is a well-oiled machine and everyone has their job and place to make the game an experience for just two people (like us) or for a million that could be watching on TV.
Even though the Dolphins didn’t win, getting to see so much of the new stadium and visiting places that we never otherwise would’ve been able to was something we’ll never forget.
The Ultimate Fan Experience was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Thank you to South Florida Honda Dealers and CBS Miami’s Jason Mizrachi and David Dwork for making our Ultimate Fan Experience an unforgettable one!
