Now it has spread across the country donating 75 percent of income to cancer research and education, totaling $2 billion dollars to date. Join the fight on October 18 by participating in the 19th Annual Miami/Ft. Lauderdale Komen Race with a 5K Run beginning at 8 a.m. followed by a 9:45 a.m. Tot Run. The event will feature 60s and 70s music, drinks, a secret celebrity impersonator and guests are encouraged to dress up to match the theme. All proceeds benefit child mentoring and development.
