The St. Patrick’s Day Bar Stroll kicks off at the Southernmost Beach Cafe, but includes many other bars in Key West (to see complete list click here). Not only is this a successful annual event but this year marks their 38th year of celebration! Rick Dostal originally founded this event back in 1979 with Curly McGinn when it was then called St. Patrick’s Day Bar None Suds Run. Each year also includes an exclusive and customized t-shirt for that year’s celebration. Not only is this a fun event but proceeds from it will benefit two amazing organizations: Cancer Foundation of the Florida Keys and Boys & Girls Club of the Keys Area.
