After hours activities abound in South Florida. There are beaches, hotels, restaurants, parks and many more happening places in the South Florida area. Whether you want a nice, quiet place to chill out after the bars close, or whether you want to continue to party, you will find something to do after the bars close. Big Pink restaurant is the late-night hangout for many party-goers. While Big Pink is always busy, the happening crowd doesn't stroll in until after the bars close on Friday and Saturday nights. The food is delicious but the atmosphere created when the after hours crowd arrives makes this place a great place to go after the bars close down at night. Big Pink Restaurant stays open until 5 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Clevelander, located in the South Beach section of Miami Beach, is considered "party central" by party-goers in the area. There is no dress code, a poolside bar that stays open later than most bars in the area, and debauched theme nights. Music can be heard throughout the day and into the wee hours of the morning. The hotel features 60 rooms, one pool, three bars, two rooftop terraces, a dance club and a sports bar. This is a place that is designed for the over 21 crowd and no one under the age of 21 is allowed to stay at this hotel. Basically, The Clevelander is an "anything goes" area where drinking and lots of loud music can be found almost 24 hours a day.

Although the Fox Observatory is only open to the public on Saturday nights, it is well worth visiting. Fox Observatory has been known to be open into the wee morning hours and sometimes all night to allow patrons to get the best view of the night sky. The observatory houses many different types and sizes of telescopes for the viewing needs of visitors. On clear nights, many of the visitors set up their own telescopes on the grounds surrounding the observatory.

The boardwalk begins at Indian Beach Park and continues through some of the most beautiful and scenic parts of South Beach. There are lots of places to stop for a break along the boardwalk. The adventurous visitors can even walk in the sand along the beach in certain areas.
