Valentine’s Day is the time when couples pull out all of the stops in an effort to express their love for their significant other. Most will opt for the standard dinner, flowers and candy, but these shows are sure to spice up Valentine’s Day and create a romantic experience rather than a boring date. Listen to music to put yourself in the mood, attend the ballet or shun the romantic vibe altogether and see a comedy show. Pick a venue that expresses your love and treat your date to an unforgettable night.

Fans of Lewis Black know that his performance has nothing to do with Valentine’s Day. It’s just a great comedy show featuring a man who gives the most poignant and hilarious rants of our generation. Watch Black’s rational irrational anger as he complains about modern day conveniences, American politics and more. You and your spouse will be united in laughter and belly-aching cackles as you shun the romantic and opt for fun instead. It’s the most hilarious way to spend Valentine’s Day.
