Top Baseball Bars In South Florida

Baseball used to be known as America's favorite pastime. Now football has taken over that title, but that doesn't mean there aren't still some diehard fans out there. The good news is that is there a place for every baseball fan from the clubber to the sports fanatic. South Florida offers the full range of bars including a nightclub inside a baseball stadium and your neighborhood bar with pendant-adorned walls. You would expect nothing less from the city that is home to the two-time World Series champion, Miami Marlins.

The Clevelander Hotel in South Beach has been renowned for the last 70 years as the place to party by the pool on the neon strip. Now, for an additional fee, you can still party by the pool at their latest location, but this time you will be attending a Miami Marlins baseball game inside Marlins Park. The club holds up to 250 guests and features access to stadium seating, lively dancers and Clevelander culinary favorites. There's even a post-game after party with free admittance for guests ages 21 and over with ticket purchase. There's not a baseball bar in Miami, much less the country, that can top that.

If you can't make it to a Miami Marlins game, then the next best thing is to head to Duffy's Sports Grill. It's the official sports grill of the Miami Marlins and features affordable drink specials that are light on your wallet and filling to your stomach. There are seven locations across Miami-Dade and Broward counties and each is spacious enough to house you and a group of your closest fin fans. For an authentic Miami experience, it's highly recommended to go to the North Miami Beach location where boaters can pull up to the dock and dine on the outdoor deck while overlooking the bay. It adds a bit of wonder to an already amazing night.

Tom's NFL

Miami Springs, FL 33166

Upon first glance at the name, you might be fooled into thinking that Tom's NFL is just another football bar. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Tom's NFL caters to all sports and carries the full MLB Extra Innings package so you can cheer for the old ball game no matter who your team is. It's located just minutes from the airport and features a crowd that is a good mixture of locals and visitors to the Magic City, so there's alway an opportunity to bond with someone new over a few brewskies. And with the casual decor and pendant-laced walls, meeting a new baseball buddy here is more than likely.

Sandbar Sports Grill 2

Coconut Grove, FL 33133

The Sandbar Sports Grill Coconut Grove location is less beachy than its North Beach counterpart. There is no beach sand covering the floors, only an open layout of wooden seats compassed by high-definition TVs, sport memorabilia and surfboards intermingling on the walls. Here, you might meet some collegiate baseball stars from the University of Miami, which is situated just minutes away, but mostly there will be rowdy college kids looking for a night of drinking games and debauchery. It's your basic wild night mixed with a bit of baseball.

So that means you can eat its award winning wings, homemade pizza or smoked in-house barbecue while watching the game of your choice.
