Leave the stress of the holidays behind! Spend a relaxing afternoon with your family at a play. a musical or a ballet. There are family-themed plays like "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "The Nutcracker Ballet: for ballet aficionados and even dance shows for fans of "Dancing With The Stars." If you have never seen a ballet in person, then this is a must-see destination. The props, the dancers and the costumes are incredible. The Moscow Ballet has taken a simple story and turned it into a masterpiece that has to be seen to believe. This hour and a half ballet has only one break during the performance. Each act lasts 45 minutes, so be sure and take any breaks just before it starts. "The Nutcracker" is child oriented, but small children may be uncomfortable sitting for such a long time.

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is a classic children's tale that has been made even more popular by Jim Carrey. But the Grinch is not just for children anymore. Parents also can enjoy watching this classic that is now being presented on stage as a musical endeavor. Ticket prices range from $35.00 up to $85.00, so this venue can be a nice family outing to relax during the holiday season. There are even late morning and early afternoon shows for the convenience of parents viewing the musical with their young children.

Playwright Mark Brown has created a new holiday story in this adaptation of the original Charles Dickens story. This new story is a hilarious, yet entertaining, courtroom drama play that will have viewers seeing Ebenezer Scrooge in a whole new light. Tickets are $50.00 for each seat, whether the seat is purchased for an adult or a child. Due to the nature of this play, parental judgment should be used when bringing children to this performance.
