One of the nation's most celebrated art fairs occurs in South Florida each year in the heart of Coconut Grove. Here's your guide to all of the action.

The three-day annual arts festival in Coconut Grove features festivities throughout the streets of the city with art, food and live entertainment February 15-17 (President's Day Weekend). Not a single sector of the art world is missed with music, visual art, photography, mixed media and others included in the fair. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, enjoy the festival for just $15 for general admission with children under 12 gaining admission for free as well as holders of Metrorail Golden Passport and Patriot Passports. Ticket purchasers living in the 33133 zip code are eligible for discounted tickets as well.

The 2014 Palette Breakfast is hosted by the Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove Hotel with an incredible gourmet breakfast and a special guest, the 2014 Poster Artist. Tickets for the event are $100 per person and the prices include plenty for the money including valet at the hotel until 3 p.m. The Coconut Grove Arts Festival benefits included with the ticket price are VIP passes to the festival and the hospitality area all weekend long and two tickets to the Shake-a-Leg Miami cocktail reception. Shopping is even simpler with the purchase of the breakfast tickets as ticket holders are given 10-percent off art from participating artists at the fair as well as a $20 merchandise credit voucher.

Project Pineapple

Project Pineapple is a fun project at the festival with a great cause. Artists participating in the Coconut Grove Arts Festival have been commissioned to come up with original works incorporating a pineapple theme. The pineapple was the chosen theme as it's also the logo for Baptist Hospital. Proceeds from the sales of the pieces will benefit the Baptist Children's Hospital Cancer Fund.

Top Chef Presentations
Culinary Pavilion

Each day of the arts festival features cooking demonstrations from guest chefs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Culinary Pavilion. Saturday's guest chef is Giorgio Rapicavoli of Eating House in Coral Gables. Douglas Rodriguez of De Rodriguez Cuba on Ocean will be the featured chef for Sunday's demonstration and Monday has a full day of presentations with Chef Collen Engle of the Miami Culinary Institute giving a presentation on molecular gastronomy, Chef Timothy Tucker talking about vegetarian cuisine and Chef John Richards giving a presentation on preparing wild game.

Circus Arty Party
Children's Trust Kids Area

The fun continues at the Children's Trust Kids Area of the festival with the Circus Arty Party. The event takes place daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for an incredibly fun learning experience for the kids. The instructors are master artists Marc Chagall, Ang Kiukok and Alexander Calder. Children will meet and interact with these top artists as well as learn special skills designated for each day – juggling, stilt walking and balloon sculpting.
