PRL stands for Polish Republican Lounge and is owned and operated by a native of Poland. It is open from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m. and although the bar is small, it is a popular hangout. It has a wide variety of beers and holds open mic nights and DJs spinning music. The website advertises wines and ciders for women and on the first Friday of every month, it features local artists’ creations in an art show. There is also outdoor seating available at the site to alleviate the crowds on weekend nights.
