Blue Martini Lounge is such a popular destination that it has actually expanded throughout Florida and into Vegas and Phoenix as well. In Miami though, it is the downtown Brickell location that is the place to meet someone. Open Sunday through Wednesday, until 3 a.m., and Thursday through Saturday, until 5 a.m., Blue Martini Lounge is the place to go for that Happy Hour that ends up extending late into the night. Ladies night is every Wednesday, with ladies receiving free Three Olive cocktails; ladies enjoy the free drinks and guys enjoy the turnout.

Located on the lively Miracle Mile, John Martin’s Irish Pub & Restaurant is an old Miami establishment. It is actually credited with changing the spirits industry in the area – before John Martin’s, liquor was only allowed by law to be served at a table, not over a bar. With live music, comedy nights, and broadcast sporting events, John Martin’s brings in the crowds, and the crowds are all generally looking to meet someone. If you are more into the local bar scene than the flashier Miami clubs, John Martin’s is the best bar to meet someone as laid back as you are. Hours: Sunday through Thursday, until midnight; Friday and Saturday, until 2 a.m.

Green Street Cafe is an energetic establishment located on the corner of a bustling street in the heart of the Coconut Grove neighborhood. While it has indoor seating, the majority of the crowd that frequents Green Street takes to the outdoor tables and red velvet love seats. Drink prices aren’t cheap, but when it comes to meeting someone in Miami, you cannot top this bar and lounge. There is even a hand-painted sign that reads, “Where there is love, there is life!” – that has to be a good omen or at least a conversation starter. Hours: Sunday through Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.; Wednesday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 3 a.m.
