www.myfoxhouse.comFounded and functioning in South Florida by Tobi Salver in 2010, Fox House has the "unique, fashion forward gal in mind." Salver wanted to "create an online boutique where a woman with a distinctive style can come to, and find anything from a killer black velvet 80s dress, to a 90's inspired floral dress by Minkpink. In our minds, its not what you have in your wardrobe, but how you piece it together." While the Fox House team travels around the country, from Los Angeles to New York, to discover new indie designers, stay current on international labels, and score rad vintage products, they know having their base in South Florida gives them access to some of the best vintage buying there is! They also offer frequent pop-ups throughout South Florida, including the Miami Flea monthly. Be sure to follow Fox House on social media for their latest updates and specials; you can find them on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and even YouTube.
90's Inspired LooksThis fall will be all about anything 90's inspired, according to Salver. She elaborates that, "This 90's look can include anything from Doc Martin inspired boots to biker jackets." Some other ways to achieve a 90's look is "incorporating subtle 90's inspired accents in accessories like chokers and adding accent braids to a tousled hair style." South Florida also has it's own 90's touch as Tolvier shares, "Fall in Miami is also a bit different than our colder neighboring states, so it would be perfectly fitting to still wear a skater inspired dress paired with chunk boots." Lastly she emphasizes, "Don't forget to layer your vintage flannel button down!"
Unconventional LayeringSpeaking of layering, Salver shares that "this season is all about mixing and matching, including staple pieces you normally wouldn't pair together." One example she gives is a silky spaghetti strapped dress over a long sleeved turtle neck. Another option could be adding a sleeveless duster to just about any outfit which will give it some layers but not be too bulky.
Monochrome MixingSalver states on monochrome mixing, "This might not be the first season to find inspiration in monochrome style, but the use of pastels in fall and pre-fall fashion is ultra inspiring." For those that have a passion for lavender one idea she shares is, "Take your old pants you haven't been able to style for awhile, and match it with that fabulous lavender button down. Remember, the idea is not to find the exact same colors, but similar colors."

Faux Animal Coats"Key word in this tip is FAUX", Salver elaborates. She expands on that importance by saying, "We definitely think it's hip to go the cruelty free route. Our synthetic alternatives are equally as lavish, warm and soft." Leopard prints are her favorite this season. She says, "the best part about big cat prints is they can be paired with everything, from your monochrome look to the unconventional layering."
Contrast & JuxtapositionAccording to Salver, this fall will be all about having fun with fashion and creating more unconventional, installation art inspired looks. One such look could be, "Add a soft knit sweater with a sparkly skirt to create a fun, flirty, and unbalanced but perfectly acceptable look." Another example she gave was, "balance a short pencil skirt with a vintage bomber skirt." Lastly she states, "we are seriously loving a pants suit matched with sneakers!"
