Some drivers on the Dolphin Expressway (SR 836) may have to change their commute a bit Wednesday night.
Traffic changes will take place for drivers beginning Monday morning. To prepare for those change, some closures will take place through the weekend.
The FBI released pictures of an alleged bank robbery subject that stole money from a Citibank branch on West Flagler Street in Miami Thursday morning.
When the new ramp is opened, drivers on southbound SR 826 going to SW 8 Street will need to exit a half mile earlier at the same ramp used to access West Flagler Street.
Tonight and tomorrow night the southbound lanes of the Palmetto will be closed from NW 25th street to the Dolphin Expressway from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
All northbound lanes on SR 826 will be closed from south of West Flagler Street to SR 836 on Sunday, August 10 between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. In addition, the westbound SR 836 ramp to southbound SR 826 will also be closed during this time frame.
State Road 826 drivers will need to seek an alternate route Sunday night and early Monday morning.
Drivers who normally travel on State Roads 826 and 836 in the late-night, early-morning hours will need to find alternate routes.
Be prepared for changes to the Palmetto Expressway, Wednesday.
The major traffic lane changes to State Road 836 started this weekend, but with Monday a holiday for some, drivers returning to work Tuesday may find themselves confused on their usual route.
