Marlins’ Dee Gordon Might Avoid DL Despite Dislocated Thumb

Marlins All-Star second baseman Dee Gordon may be able to avoid the disabled list despite dislocating his left thumb, president of baseball operations Michael Hill said Sunday.

De La Rosa Sets Rockies’ Win Record By Beating Miami 4-1

Jorge De La Rosa became the Colorado Rockies’ career leader in victories Sunday, pitching seven innings to prevent a four-game sweep and beat the Miami Marlins 4-1.
