Several road closures will take place next week including the complete closure of SR 836 westbound between I-95 and NW 27th Avenue.
When the new ramp is opened, drivers on southbound SR 826 going to SW 8 Street will need to exit a half mile earlier at the same ramp used to access West Flagler Street.
The eastbound 836 exit ramp to southbound NW 27th Avenue will be closed through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night.
Drivers who normally travel on State Roads 826 and 836 in the late-night, early-morning hours will need to find alternate routes.
The complete closures on the 836 that were expected to begin Thursday night have been canceled.
Travelers will need to seek an alternate route if they are leaving or coming to Broward County from Palm Beach County.
Changes are coming to the Palmetto Expressway, or SR 826, starting this week.
