Torch of Friendship
There’s a candlelight vigil scheduled Monday night at The Torch of Friendship to urge South Florida Representatives to vote against bombing Syria.
On Saturday, thousands of South Floridians marched to “Say Yes” to a new immigration system, one that proponents tout as a real and inclusive path to citizenship for 11 million aspiring Americans.
More than one hundred people took part in a rally Sunday in Miami to show their support for the people of Syria.
In Miami people from a variety of backgrounds gathered Saturday at the Torch of Friendship, but these voices were not raised in anger, instead they came together in a show of support for the protesters overseas.
