A’s Complete Sweep Of Marlins, 4-3

Nate Freiman hit a three-run homer in his 2014 debut and the Oakland Athletics beat the Miami Marlins 4-3 Sunday to complete a three-game series sweep.

Marlins Try To Salvage Series Against A’s

The Oakland Athletics were the fastest team in the AL to 50 wins and are a season-best 20 games over .500, though they made it difficult on themselves in the last two contests. After overcoming blown leads to win both, the MLB-leading A’s go for a three-game sweep of the host Miami Marlins on Sunday.
