Scott Wants Tighter Controls On College Costs

Governor Rick Scott is asking legislators to pass a sweeping bill which would lower textbook costs and curb tuition increases for graduate programs.

Miami Dade College Campus’ Top Safety Official Fired

The top public safety official at Miami Dade College’s West Campus in Doral was fired. The move comes after he was accused of selling textbooks from lost-and-found, according to a notice of termination.
