CBS’ Boomer Esiason was on the WFAN Monday morning and discussed the blackout during Super Bowl XLVII. Esiason said Beyonce’s halftime show shorted out the electricity twice during rehearsals, but said he couldn’t be sure that’s what caused the outage.
After a full regular season and a thrilling postseason, only two NFL teams remain and Baltimore and San Francisco are set to battle it out in New Orleans during Super Bowl XLVII for the right to be called world champions.
New Orleans will be the site of the new marquee bowl game between the Southeastern Conference and Big 12.
