FIU Poised For Conference Title After 38-17 Win Over La. Lafayette

Darriet Perry scored three second-half touchdowns and Florida International added a defensive score late in the third quarter on the way to a 38-17 win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday. The Golden Panthers (5-5, 5-1) remained in first place in the Sun Belt Conference and can clinch their first conference title with a win in one of their remaining two games.
