Not much has gone right for the Florida International University Panthers in 2012. Despite returning nearly the entire defense, the Panthers are just 1-5 and 0-2 in the Sun Belt Conference heading into Saturday’s game with the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders.
The Florida International Panthers are struggling in 2012 and now must go on the road to face a University of Louisiana team more than ready to send FIU back to Miami with its proverbial tail between its legs.
Florida International University officially announced Friday the school will leave the Sun Belt Conference after the 2012 season and join Conference USA.
